The big problem we have had with our QBs is that they don’t know how to cycle thru their progressions. And if you can’t get it by now, you’re not going to get it. Fields has a great arm and is a great runner, but he’s not a great QB. I think it’s time to move on. But not just from him, but the coaching staff as well

The Chargers have a bit harder schedule than we do… They’re an above average team that hasn’t been able to beat the really good teams and have had some letdowns against the others. They crushed us when they played us on Sunday night. And I’m not sure having Fields would have mattered. Yes, their coaching has been subpar, but nowhere near as bad as ours.

I think if Poles decides to keep him, then I think they’ll both end up getting fired. Eberflus will most likely be the fall guy, especially if they lose out, no matter how well Fields plays. I think they blast it all up even if they lose out but Fields plays well. Fields will get traded to the Falcons or Ravens, the coaching staff will be gone, and Poles will draft a QB and or a WR or trade one of those picks for a haul. I think he’ll address the coaching situation first before he decides on the draft picks, of course. But yeah he needs to fire Flus or they’ll both be gone

I couldn’t believe that pick 6 before halftime. Sherman had a funny quote, something like, “I don’t know how much more you tell the defense you hate them by throwing them a TD with two seconds left before halftime”. They would have been better off with Zuerlein trying a 65 yard FG. I feel for that Jets defense. First they get a pick 6, then they get another pick in like 50 seconds. That team is literally wasting a super bowl defense. They were stupid not to have a qualified backup behind Rodgers. I mean fuck, isn’t Nick Foles available? The coaching is a major part of the problem, but Fields is partially to blame too. He doesn’t have good QB instincts (i.e. pocket presence, receiver progression), but he is still a great athlete and could play the position competently if he was coached properly. The problem is that they’re trying to turn him into Aaron Rodgers instead of Jalen Hurts
