So apparently there were 22 NFL teams scouting the OSU Michigan game. I don’t know if this means anything, but the Bears were not there scouting that game
He wasn’t allowed to attend today’s game so our scouts probably met with him off-site
Only interested in MHJ no need to scout that talent
The only Michigan person we were interested in scouting wasnt allowed to be at the stadium today due to a suspension
No it doesn’t mean anything, this is the last weekend to see a lot of players who are playing without nearly as many cameras as the OSU Michigan game has to view film later.
They’ve seen enough of MHJ to know we should take him
1OA
Whenever I see 1OA I always read it as 10 A. First thought is, ”I don’t know that that guy is going number 10.” second thought is, “who’s 10 B?” And then I’m finally like “ah, yes 1 overall. That makes a lot more sense.”
Sometimes it looks like lOA (LOA) to me, but it’s basically branded into my brain by know.
This is what needs to happen. No rolling the dice to trade down or wait for our pick work a guy like this.
There’s no way we’re taking a receiver at number 1.
Speaking of scouting - Drake Maye is 1/6 for 3 yards so far. I can not believe anyone wants him over Williams.
I think people just love him because its someone not named Caleb Williams, the hate boner for him is kinda crazy in here
You do realize we’ve scouted osu previously this season correct?
So your assumption is that 22 other teams have not and then waited until this last game?
How standard are NFL scouting departments/budgets? Like are all teams generally pretty much similar, not necessarily in quality, but quantity? I just ask because I’m a Sox fan and I know their scouting and analytics departments are comically small compared to almost every other MLB franchise but figure in a salary capped league with more parity it would be a bit more even across the board.
Nope. It varies greatly from team to team.
I’ve been keeping a tracker from tweets I see of where bears scouts are at. They’ve been to plenty of Michigan and Ohio state games, this means nothing
the scouts were well on their way to the stadium for 56 minutes but then stopped
