Like some of us have been telling you guys - Purdy is an very, very good, if not elite QB
Could make a lot of money prescribing T2 diabetes meds to the crowd at this game lmao
Yep - now it’s negative PR and the NFL looks like a childish asshole.

Draft a QB - if you are still wondering if a QB is the guy in year 3 it means he’s not the guy.
His arm is absolutely electric, he has a quick release and throws very well off platform. Physically the only real knock on him is that he’s a little short (but he is well built/stout - he’s not a little guy like Bryce Young)
He’s almost certain to be the #1 pick - he’s coming out.
I love Alex Brown and he and Lance do a great job playing off each other.
FYI for those like me who don’t live in Chicago anymore - they put this show up on youtube every week. That’s where i watch it
I watch a lot of college football. One thing you notice in college is that a lot of teams actually call audibles from the sidelines now using signs (this may change if helmet radios are adopted). This probably hinders QB development to some extent.
TIL that some writers at bleacher report as dumb as half this sub
The Bears actually don’t run that many screens overall. The data was posted on r/NFL a few times last night and today. We are firmly middle of the pack and actually a bit below average when it comes to screen frequency.
Yawn - Fields is going to get traded and tear up the league just like Trubisky did I’m sure
We drafted like 4 first round QBs in the last 25-30 years.
The only QB we’ve arguably failed to support and develop properly is Cutler.
The rest of the guys just weren’t good.
Fields has either the highest or second highest time to pressure (it was posted on r/NFL sometime in the last couple of days).
Fields is not a terrible QB like Zach Wilson, he’s a below average NFL starter - probably around the 20th or 21st ranked QB.
He’s probably a tier below guys like Mayfield and Carr as a passer.
He seems like a great dude and he can be really exciting to watch… .but unfortunately he’s just fatally flawed. His pocket presence is terrible, he takes sacks at a historically bad rate and he simply can’t read defenses consistently and throw with anticipation.
That’s my take too FWIW
Fields isn’t anywhere near as good as Cutler. Until we see someone who can at least be an average to above average NFL QB like Cutler we need to keep drafting new guys.
Is Fields stuggling because of Getsy?
Is Getsy struggling because he doesn’t have a legitimate QB1?
Both are fair questions and that probably means we need to move on from both.
WTF was that 2 point attempt?
