  • I feel like I’m going fucking crazy. Last night the defense held the opposing team to 10 points and forced 4 turnovers, yet he fumbled twice in crucial situations where pretty much kneeling down would have won us the game. He failed to lead even a single TD drive. He missed wide open receivers, which is particularly bad given he attempted only 2 passes 10 yards beyond the LoS, and continues to show all the glaring issues he’s had since day one of entering the league.

What the fuck are people still waiting on? He’s been shir for 3 years, he’s still shit after we went out and got him DJ Moore, and all he’s ever going to be is shit. Anyone who feels like they haven’t seen enough has no idea wtf they are talking about; probably the same people who said we “ruined” Mitch as he proceeded to suck balls everywhere he went afterwards too.

  • What a miserable excuse for a win. The defense holds the opposing team to 10 and gets four turnovers and we squeak out 12 with inexcusable mistakes at every single turn, primarily from Fields who I am SO fucking tired of watching. If I have to endure another year of watching this clown refusing to throw the ball beyond the LoS and sitting in a clean pocket doing fuck all until he gets hit and fumbles or the play breaks down and he gets lucky I’m just not even going to fucking watch.

Fuck Fields, fuck these coaches, fuck this team.

  • This phenomenon is vastly exaggerated for QBs. Anybody who acts like it’s a completely impossible task to tell how a QB would turn out in a better/worse situation have no idea what they are talking about or what to look for.

Take Mitch for example - he always stared down his first read, couldn’t go through his progressions, and panic-threw into his checkdown option if his first read wasn’t there. All traits of bad QBs that made it obvious he didn’t have what it takes, and he never improved. It didn’t matter how clean the pocket was, how good the playcall was, the same traits remained.

It was obvious that he would suck wherever he went also, and sure enough he did. If you didn’t predict that, then you didn’t know what you were talking about.

The same can be said of Fields - he’s not some perpetual victim of bad circumstance, he’s just not very good, and it obvious. I’ll bet anyone any amount of money that he will suck for the team we trade him to this offseason too.
