These safeties don’t make me feel safe. Just me?

Eddie like Cody passed that razors edge this offseason of still hacking it in the NFL. They are here more or less for veteran presence. Both will probably be cut then eat the dead cap next year but ultimately saving 14 mil combined.

Jackson will be gone and the bears will be hunting in FA this year - even with our record the holes on the team are much smaller but this is a critical one to fill.

E-Jax will be a cap casualty this offseason. Jaquan will 💯be on the team next year. Hopefully next year he’ll have better luck with his health.

Brisker was notable when he was out. We could see the gap when he was replaced by a backup, with runs going for an extra 4 yards than they would if he was in… There are much larger issues than him.

Bojak fancies himself as a modern Deion sanders. He wants highlight plays without having to do the dirty work and seems scared of contact.

We have too many other flaws to replace brisker, but he shares plenty of the blame for why we consistently get torched by good QBs. He’s not a coverage safety.

Jackson should have been good two or three years ago

There is no way EJ returns next season, the cap hit is minimal if he’s cut and his salary is absurd for a washed safety.

We will move on from E-jax due to his contract not matching his play anymore, suggesting we will get rid of Bricker is idiotic. He’s a good player in a shitty defensive scheme

Jackson is a 12.5 million cap savings if we cut him in the offseason.

We could sign any safety in the NFL at less than that and have the same impact as Eddie Jackson does today. There is no reason to keep him.

We’ll always remember those first few years.
