- Just 4.
The screens are because Getsy knows Fields can’t throw downfield, and is also trying to save his job. He has zero interest in evaluating Fields, he’s just trying to do whatever he can so we win the game
I’ve seen some people suggest that this sub has just been overrun by OSU fans and that would explain so much
See this post (one of the best ever on this sub) for why this is ridiculous
Yes. No question. Not that I’m criticizing Poles for not taking Stroud, but this is an obvious yes for me
Shit, just when it looked like this might start to be a good game
This sub was excited because everyone here gives the benefit of the doubt to McCaskey hires before they’ve proven anything for some reason
So depressing to see the Bengals that high in a year that looks to be fairly open in the AFC. Felt like they were hitting their stride and had a chance to make a run again.
Scenario 1: don’t care, will stop watching the team until Flus is gone
Scenario 2: HC - Ben Johnson. DC - Sean McDermott if he gets fired by the Bills??
This draft is basically my dream scenario except we need to hire a new coaching staff first. If we hire say Ben Johnson and he prefers Maye over Williams for the offense he plans to run, then Maye should be the pick at #1. After that I would love to get MHJ but it’s looking unlikely that he’ll still be there for our next pick. Fashanu would be a great consolation prize.
I’m tired of throwing young QBs into a dumpster fire
This has been repeated endlessly. Here is what our offensive personnel will include next year: Wright and Jenkins on the OL. Moore, Mooney, Kmet in the receiving corps. Roschon, Herbert/Foreman in the backfield. Even if you don’t believe in Braxton at LT that makes 3 OL spots max that need to be upgraded, which we have ample resources to do in free agency and the draft. What part of this offense is a “dumpster fire” for a rookie QB to step into next year?
As long as we fire Getsy and bring in a new offensive coach, I don’t understand the idea that we’re throwing the next QB into a total mess and expecting him to fix it all singlehandedly.
Santos is our best player
I just want to address this one point that has been driving me nuts. NOBODY IS CALLING WILLIAMS “GENERATIONAL.”
There have only been 4 “generational” QB prospects ever: Elway, Manning, Luck, and Lawrence. There are no pundits calling Caleb one of them. As a prospect he is/has been rated on par with Cam Newton and Joe Burrow when they were coming out of college. Which is MUCH better than Fields was rated. This is the opinion of pro football analysts, people who watch film, people who do this for a living that have no bias one way or the other.
2 QB system, can’t go wrong
Lucas Patrick. Will never understand this signing and the complete refusal to properly address center the last couple years.
