Just curious with the Fields debate. Has there ever been a QB mid-way through their 3rd year or later with so much uncertainty develop into a reliable starting QB? Alex Smith comes to mind but obviously wasn’t good enough to keep his position.

Alex Smith & Drew Brees are 2 players that come to mind. Geno Smith as well.

Josh McCown as well, but not as a starter.

Kirk Cousins and Goff’s transition is still early but he seems to be on the Cousins route. In the more average tier, Tannehill. It seems more common that qbs take a long time to develop vs the instant hit in year 1/2.

      Don’t forget Kirk Cousins.

Dude was a 4th rounder meant to back up fellow rookie RG3.

RG3 isn’t even in the league and Kirk Cousins is considered a top tier QB, if not S tier this season (before the injury) then at least A tier.

Can we stop it with S tier already. Some idiot invented S Tier for when something goes so beyond excellent, an A tier cannot contain it.

Now people create S tiers for 15% of whatever the fuck they are listing . So dumb. Sorry I had to drop this rant on you though. Haha

The drew brees in San Diego was actually decent. It was the injury that made them move to rivers.

As a Justin supporter I absolutely support drafting a top QB and not forcing him to start in this mess immediately… if Justin fails with a QB prospect on the roster fine. But this team is kind of a mess and letting a rookie work through their flaws in practice for 8 games is perfectly fine to me. I just don’t want to ruin 2 prospects with this teams dysfunction. Plus what happens if Justin balls out? We increase his trade value which only helps us
