  • And let me guess this take is based entirely because you saw a tweet of him playing hands against the lions where he did do a good job on that one single play and you assumed that’s how it normally goes.

Yes, when kmet chooses to try he can block well. He usually doesn’t because he wants to leak out for that checkdown.

But like you mentioned his positioning is routinely terrible. This shows especially on run blocking. Where he seems to be what madden based their blocking ai on. Where there’s two guys needing to be blocked one a bigger threat and he ends up not blocking either.

  • Traded #32 for claypool

whiffed on pickens twice for an okay safety and a mid cb

reached on vjj in the 3rd

every other wr he’s tried to add besides DJ

    Lucas Patrick

Paid sweat top 5 money for top 20-25 edge play

still have a terrible d-line with all of his players

Davis can’t get on the field, braxton is still starting, no one has a clue what wright is going to be. He has good plays he has embarrassing plays as a rookie is going to.

we have a bottom 5 talent roster despite the #1 overall pick and 100 million in cap. Where is this talent evaluation? his entire “tear down” was make a bad trade on mack…and he’s done. Yet we’re acting like it was some giant task that he couldn’t possibly improve on with 2 off seasons. And yes, he choose the disaster of Eberflus.

where is this solid team as we’re as we’re sitting with the #4 overall pick next year? That’s ryan poles. You guys really show you don’t know any roster besides the bears and maybe the super bowl contenders.

  • Why his stats are bad is because he’s an inaccurate qb who can’t read nfl defenses and when he can’t rely on his legs he crumbles.

Its the answer to the question of why when people look at his 170 passing yards with 4 turnovers and go well actually he had 270 total yards because he ran the ball! And yards are yards…while they also complain about going run, run, pass on the game losing drive.

Running is great, if you can pass the ball first. It’s why Steve Young is the only running qb with playoff success. Though hurts certainly played great in the super bowl, even if he didn’t exactly get much competition from the giants and qbless 49ers in getting there.

You know as well as I do that fields td % is going down and is inflated by two games and then getting injured. His int rate has been the same throughout his career. His 3rd down and 4th quarter struggles have been the same throughout the year.

Mitchell put up 8 touchdowns across two games too. Its not the sign that he’s suddenly someone new. He is who he has been for 3 years. A bad qb with great legs who can make a highlight throw or two or three a game. But across 32 starts he’s got 2 or 3 solid 60 minute games. Depending on if you consider the Washington game where he barely completed 50% of his passes a good 60 minutes or not.

The solution is to stop being off set. Get a new gm, new qb, new hc. They get 3 years to win a playoff game or keep rolling the dice until you get it right. This entire oh it’s not fields it’s getsy. Its not poles it’s eberflus. Doesn’t benefit anyone but the lions, packers, and vikings.
