Except hippos are known to eat meat…so they ARE omnivores.
Nearly any plant eater is. The categorization is outdated and you shouldn’t be mad.
Yeah, hippos are pretty interesting because they’re definitely not obligate omnivores but do eat some meat.

Deer will MONCH on some bird nests full of eggs and babies. Also on adult birds if they are injured or caught on something.

And I think that’s a beautiful thing.
They’re more of a “get off my lawn, and I’m serious” kind of aggressive than an “I’m hungry” kind of aggressive.
This reminds me of the old adage when it comes to bears, “If it’s brown, lie down. If it’s black, fight back. If it’s white, goodnight.”
People often expect grizzlies to be the scariest, but they tend to be mostly territorial so playing dead is the best option. Black bears will see people as opportunistic prey if they’re hungry enough (most predators don’t want to get in a fight with their prey). Polar bears are always looking for food so I’m guessing that they’re hangry all the time.
