  • “Dude, I really, really don’t have time…” followed by several paragraph response. Smh, obviously you do have time.

First you came at me about Williams, so that’s on you. I posted my opinion and you came in all high and mighty like you know so much about this guy… and well it’s just your opinion too.

Agreed it doesn’t make sense to stay in college, but it doesn’t negate the fact that his own father said this, and to your point does he go against family? What if his dad has a large influence on him over other issues, agents, sponsors, contracts, dad says he needs to traded etc. if his dad is vocal now with demands and statements you don’t thing it’s going to be an issue? Flag.

I absolutely know who Florio is, he’s paid journalist for NBC. What’s his ratio of false vs true in reporting? Are you suggesting 80% of what he reports is false? 70% 50%? Do you have any proof he erroneously reports or is this just your overall opinion? By the way, it’s been reported by several other people that it was a request not only by Williams but by Rodgers as well. Not just by florio but if your basis of your argument is strictly the credibility of Florio, I’ll take his word over a 24 year old keyboard warrior

And that’s where you’re so insanely off. He 22 now, turned 22 in November so his first few games of the nfl season he’ll be 22. Meaning his first few losses in the nfl, you’re completely fine with him blowing off media, teammates, fans, and just crying with his mom in the stands? Name on other athlete in the world that has been under 10x the amount of pressure as him and did something similar? Lebron James, at 18 years old, known across the world prior to getting drafted lost his first nba game. Totally fine if after the game he ignored his team and said “I want to be alone with my dog and watch shows?”

Yes, 22 year olds are immature, but a 22 year old about to make $40m and become the face of the franchise have to, HAVE to be mentally built diff.

I can’t wait to see what happens to this guy. He has elite physical tools but going to a bad nfl team and not being successful, does he have the mental fortitude? I don’t think he does

  • When you’re referring to MHJ, that is a one time comment. If you want to pick and choose that’s your deal, but that’s not how normal people think. Take into consideration what his dad said, did he refute it? Did he say no that’s just my dad or did he say nothing at all. Saying nothing some times means more than saying something.

So you don’t have any proof that was just a rumor. So every thing a journalists reports they have to give you their sources to prove it actually happened. How f’n convenient for you. Since you say it’s a false rumor, it’s up to you to prove it wrong. Innocent until proven guilty so to speak.

Ahhh, this over played argument. There are literally dozens of experts that 100% agree with me. If he wants to cry with his mom over a movie, a book, a commercial, a break up, a death. Go for it. But he is a college athlete that is about to be drafted #1 overall and be the face of the franchise. You’re telling me that you would be 100% fine if after every game that Bryce Young loses he goes up into the stands and cries while the rest of his team leaves? This isn’t about a man crying, this isn’t about a college kid crying, this isn’t about crying in general. It’s about crying as a potential face of a franchise. This is a guy that wrote FUCK UTAH on his nails, then lost, then jumped into the stands to cry with his mom. Hold that shit until later. He’s a man, he’s a young man, but a grown man and I personally would not want to pay a grown man $40m to go cry in the stands because he lost ONE game. If he gets on a losing team that goes 0-17 you think it’s ok for him to cry after every loss, then say “i just want to be alone with my dogs and watch a show”. That’s the leader of a team. You think grown as men in their late 20s and early 30s are going to ok with the leader of their team crying with his mom? GTFOH. AGAIN!!! If he wants to cry with her at home, about anything he wants, that’s a different story. but minutes after the game when players were still on the field he crawled in the stands to cry with his mom about a game. He’s 22 and about to be paid $40m. Says a lot about emotional maturity.

You’re seriously an idiot trying to take context out of this. You think he cried because he cared to much about the sport? No, he’s selfish. He wanted to be a Heisman again, he wanted to get to playoffs again, He He He He. He didn’t talk about how hard it was for his team, he didn’t talk about the team needing a leader…. No, he said HE needs to go home and be alone after crying with his mom because HE lost. He’s got flags my guy.

  • Oh ok, let me just trust you internet stranger. Complete rumor, proof?

Saying he’ll wait until right before the draft to see if he wants to be drafted by a team or not?

He didn’t write “fuck Utah” on his nails before crying with his mom in the stadium while his teammates gave high fives.

He didn’t blame the defense for their loss and the say he wants to go home, lay with his dog and watch shows. Instead of saying I want to get better and grind and fight?

Nah man, a guy that doesn’t want to be a pro unless it’s on his preferred team, a guy that needs his mom while his teammates are out on the field, and a guy that says he wants to be alone after a loss? No.

  • Maybe. Just like every year, maybe. It’s a complete roll of the dice on how well anyone drafted perform.

Personally there are far too many flags from him and his camp that would make me excited about him being #1 overall. Not even drafted and he wants a % of the franchise? Not even drafted and he might not go to the team that drafted him? Emotional immaturity?

My biggest fear with him, including the above is the fact he has wildly inconsistent games.

90% completion vs Stanford, 64% vs ASU, to 75% vs CO, to 56% vs UofA, to 62% vs ND, 70% vs Utah, 57% vs Cal, 77% vs W, to 55% vs O, to 73% vs UCLA.

I don’t know why he’s so inconsistent, but that scares me as a fan. You’d like to see consistency or development but this is wild

  • WRs will stop getting separation, Getsy will obviously be calling the worst play calls ever, and flus will mismanage the game.

Fields will have ever excuse in the books for the remainder of his tenure with the bears. Once, like Mitch, he goes to another team and continues his poor play maybe people will learn he’s just not it. Sucks, I wanted him to be so bad but damn, he’s so f’n inconsistent and not a true passer

  • You never responded to me.

305 total pass attempts this seasons.

    1. Routes beyond 10 yards. How many 20 yard curls did he run? Exactly how many? You at often, what % of the 305 total attempts where curls?

    2. Specifically, how many routes did not innovate? Specifics. You can’t say “he has routes that do not innovate” and give zero specifics and quantitative analysis of when these occur. I’ve seen plenty of wide open WRs. Must be innovate enough.

    3. As I mentioned in the chargers game, they ran 5 screens before half and bears ran 1. What is the standard number of screens per game in the nfl today? If bears run equal to or less then this is a bs explanation.

    4. Bagent has been sacked 4 times in 4 games. Might say more about fields who also had the highest sack rate at OSU.

    5. Weak. If Phil Jackson is coaching a d-league nba team he isn’t going to turn one of those players into Jordan or Bryant. Coaches get fired for bad qb play. Blame it on whatever you want, but 99% of coaches who get fired are due to bad qb play. Coaches that have a baller qb last a long time in this league. Only if they fail to win the SB after several play off runs do they get canned… always ride or die by the qb.
