Even if Fields is a problem, there are like 8 problems more pressing than him. Don’t waste the pick. Draft someone of value or trade for someone. Picking another qb is just dumb.

And do what with him exactly? Throw him in this same horrible situation that Fields is in? That Mitch was in? Different OCs and HCs every other year with shitty systems that all look the same and destroy another QB’s confidence? We don’t exactly have a solid track record at developing guys. Maybe for another organization with a confident front office and coaching staff Williams is the right call at #1. For the Bears? No, it’s not the right call.

Personally I’d like to see Fields given another year, but also see why he should be gone. :)
If we end up going with QB I’d rather Maye, which I’ll get downvoted for saying, but I’m also not completely sold on moving on from fields, something that will also get me downvoted.
I don’t think the bears should draft a QB with a below average line, 1.5 wr’s, and a overrated TE.
IF WE DRAFT A QUARTERBACK. I think by now it’s certain Getsy should go. Fields is improving and has further potential but time is quickly running out. I believe we should draft a quarterback and let them and Fields fight it out. Both future rookies have merit but I’m leaning towards Maye. However, MHJ is just too good to pass up so he should be the No. 1.
This is dependant on what picks we end up with and only possible if we have 2 picks in the top 4.
Personally, I would draft MHJ at No.1 (continuing thanks Carolina) and Joe Alt with our pick.

Imo our #1 pick has more trade value than the crapshoot of drafting a new QB. I’d still rather have JF1 than a crapshoot QB.
