Caleb Williams threw for 4500 yards with only Jordan Addison, as a 2nd year player. Only 1 OL drafted and it was a 7th round guard. Yeah he hasn’t had as good of a year this year. I agree some of the off field stuff wasn’t my favorite.

USC isn’t some superstar loaded team. They suck. Their OL is terrible. Their skill positions aren’t that great. Some Bears fans wouldn’t know talent at QB if it smacked them in the face.

At the end of the day, when you watch the ALL-22, he still does too many things poorly to be successful week in and week out in the league across full seasons.

If he could do what he did on the Moore TD more consistently, keep his eye down field and climb the pocket, it would go a long way. Far too often you see him feel pressure, eyes go down and he starts running. Its just never going to be consistent. You have to be able to play from the pocket more consistently and after 30+ starts I feel confident in saying this is just who he is.

Don’t think the MN game is winnable. Semantics though. I don’t think a bunch of empty wins at the end of a dog shit season mean anything. He lost 14 straight.

We have a defensive head coach and have a terrible defense and yet we’re going to bring him back with a record of 6 and 21. Truly fucking delusional. We have a good run defense because teams can just pass the ball with absolutely zero pass rush, its not because we actually have a good run defense.

You don’t use a third round pick on a 24 year old guy you think is going to be a special teamer. Lets be real. They thought he could be a fast twitchy guy you could get in space and make plays with. Special teams and on offense.

I think watching Bagent play on the same team does highlight a lot of the things that Justin does poorly that makes the team lose and him do poorly.

1. Extremely bad footwork. Justin has incredibly slow drop back and catch and throw. You watch Bagent run quick screens against LV and its night and day. Catch throw. Justin takes FOREVER. Its not even like Bagent is that quick… Its just Justin is that slow.
2. Doesn’t keep his eyes down field/has major happy feet in the pocket.

Bagent playing behind the same OL Fields was playing behind. Bagent does a much better job navigating the pocket and getting the ball out on time.
