So you’re telling me to run Kmet on long routes or pull him. Provide no RB blocking help on the edges, and let Justin run 7 steps drops and hold the ball 🏈 until he gets hit. Definitely don’t allow the pocket to move or roll him out.

I think the Lions passing game sucks.
That’s what we call poor play design
I think we know what a NC QB who wore #10 can do. And we finally have a great kicker. That’s been my take away. We settled for too many FGs. We didn’t get enough points off of turnovers. But I really wanted to break my phone after Hutchinson’s strip sack of Fields and Wright kicking the ball out of the end zone for a safety. I’m tired of our OC and HC getting conservative because we have a Pro Bowl kicker. Clearly, the Lions are an offensive powerhouse when you just sit in a soft zone. Heck, every team except the Panthers can destroy our zone. I think drafting a rookie QB just allows the next coaching staff to craft a narrative that we have our guy. Nobody has mentioned that we could very well trade a pick for a veteran QB. Trading for Goff worked out for Detroit.
The defense played well until they gave up a ton of points at the end of the fourth quarter. Our offense settled for too many FGs. We didn’t score enough off of turnovers. Really disappointing considering we blew another winnable game.
Fields is a solid QB until you’re trying to win a close game in the 4th quarter.
Option 3 sounds really good. MHJ seems like the most can’t miss prospect of the bunch.
I’d love to see a backfield of Fields, Foreman, Blasingame, and Roschon. Just running the ball. Occasionally throw it to Moore or just hand it off to him and Mooney along with Scott. I don’t know why we didn’t run another reverse with Scott against the Panthers. His 1 carry went for 16 yards. Instead we just kept throwing unconvincing screens.
I’d probably just let Davis be the backup RG and roll with what we got so far. He’s had a rough season and I’m probably telling him, Patrick, and Whitehair to find new jobs next year.
I like Michael Penix Jr. I think we could pull off taking MHJ, then him.
I wouldn’t mind if he was our DC. But as the HC, not so much. But if he beats GB, ATL, AZ, MN and finishes with 7 wins I could easily see him coming back.
The refs got their point spread.
Great punt! I can’t believe we drafted a punter!
Our special teams is low key crappy. They get overshadowed by our defense and offense being woeful.
Yup. I never thought a man would make me hate 4-3 zone defense, but Flus has made me hate the 4-3. Is it just too hard to find competent DTs and LBs? Our LBs couldn’t tackle for shit and our DTs did nothing. Almost no pass rush or containment from the ends. Zero sacks, so Herbert did what he wanted. Stevenson was one of our leading tacklers. Edmunds got injured, but he hasn’t had a great year. Sanborn had a better game, but he’s looked bad most of the year.
Another unsuccessful screen
Old Grandpa Velus with a really bad penalty. Let’s cut him too. So sick of watching his stupid old man mistakes
Kmet had no clue where the first down marker was
Let’s just cut mother fucking Patrick.
Not getting a late round or even a developmental center is a glaring omission. Not getting rid of Luke Getsy’s offense is another. He arguably is responsible for Eberflus and his crappy staff. Nate Davis has been a bust.
Trenton Gill has been a solid choice too. Edwards was a good pickup.
