This was the first game I watched of his and I really liked what I saw. He had that bad Int when he was backed up in his endzone, but outside of that he looked great.
Caleb playing like ass right now
I’d take him. Love the prototypical size and arm. He’s never been tested with pro-style reads and complexities, which is true of any college QB, but I’d happily take him at no. 2 overall.

He’s prob a redshirt but a sophomore entering the draft is a red flag. He will need a strong supporting cast and organization as well as as a fan base that is patient while he goes through growing pains… this does not sound like the Bears and their fan base at all…
Nothing wrong with liking a new QB. It’ll probably happen, but our best case scenario is Fields balling.
I don’t know how people can be so comfortable with scouting one read quarterbacks. That doesn’t work at the next level and doesn’t show if a quarterback can read a whole field or a defense.
