    No chance unfortunately.

So interesting that all 5 of the remaining HCs on the hot seat are defensive coaches…can either view it as an anomaly or more evidence that offensive stability >>> defensive consistency

    1. Flus
    2. Rivera
    3. Staley
    4. Belichick
    5. Vrabel

As a point of clarity, I just wanted to see the discussion on this. My opinion is that no one will get fired until the end of the year. Main reason being there is already no defensive coordinator. You fire flus or getsy and there is a severe lack of leadership and you just need people to put in the work. If that was not an issue, this would be the time to let one or both go heading into the bye week

What does firing him at this point in the season accomplish? Further instability. He hasn’t been successful but the players seem to like him well-enough.

Nope. He’ll finish out the season at least. Hell, I’m panicked about the possibility he’ll still be here next season.

Sadly no, I don’t think Chicago will do anything till after the season is over and even then I don’t expect them to make the right decisions.

It would have to be a complete meltdown for them to even consider firing Flus. Yeah, things are bad, but Flus hasn’t seemed to have lost the locker room yet. Trestman lost the locker room and they still gave him the whole season. I think there’s still hope at Halas Hall that they can finish strong in the last 6 weeks. They still have as much hopium as we all did at the beginning of the season.

Feel like this is a daily post on this sub. The answer is still the same, no. The McCaskey’s don’t fire coaches midseason. They’d only get rid of the coach if the coach did something that requires them to fire them immediately. Despite what this sub thinks, the fans are the people who hate him. The players and other coaches don’t have personal problems with him so he’ll be coaching until the season ends.

I hope so, but no. No, it will not be his last game. Here are the top three reasons:

    1. McCaskey

    2. McCaskey
