It would have to be a complete meltdown for them to even consider firing Flus. Yeah, things are bad, but Flus hasn’t seemed to have lost the locker room yet. Trestman lost the locker room and they still gave him the whole season. I think there’s still hope at Halas Hall that they can finish strong in the last 6 weeks. They still have as much hopium as we all did at the beginning of the season.

7-10 is what a lot of analysts pegged for their record this season. Going 4-3 in this stretch would end on a high note. In this scenario, Flus at least keeps his job at least. Also depends on how you get to those wins.
