Why didn’t Poles trade for a Center before the deadline ended? Random question but I think it could have helped the overall team.
Bears absolutely need to upgrade center, but it should be easier and cheaper to do that in the offseason with either a draft pick or signing a FA.
Because he didn’t want to. He thought he could try 3 Gs there and was wrong on each and every single one of them.
Why didnt he strap on his centers helmet and squeeze down into a centers cannon and fire off into Centerland where centers grow on centeries.

Any center we would have traded for would have been a backup. Center is like a QB, you have a good one you keep them forever. Then complaining about X person is not better than Carter would ensue.
Like what is about to happen this FA, Jason Kelce and Connor Williams will be available. People will be clamoring for Connor to get signed here but most likely won’t then blame Poles for not filling holes.
