The vast majority of the time it would take a couple of seconds to just uncensor the words. There’s no need to keep the censorship, anyone here could easily do it.
If someone is somehow so inept that they can’t uncensor a meme then they have so serious issues.
I’m with you, but our meme community is already so sparse and limited compared to larger platforms that I’m not sure we’d like the results.
