We barely ever watch any TV channels.

We us a wireless keyboard with mouse pad. The TV remote is only used to turn it on, volume and to switch to a different input for the gaming console.

Yeah, I was of the same mind right from the start and people just looked at me funny when I mentioned it. All I could do was just watch in horror from the sidelines. In Finland.

Eg. In the north where you don’t get sun as much during the winter. You would need to double your solar area to be able to capture (into batteries) enough power during the summer to get through the dark winter times.
