I love them, but opinions are a bit polarized
It’s what I grew up with, and so I have great affection for it, nostalgically.
And I love that Peter Jackson brought Ian Holm back to play Bilbo.
It’s fun, but a little goofy. I recommend it, but it isn’t a masterpiece.
I watched it for the first time last year, liked it better than the first 2 Hobbit movies (never bothered watching the 3rd one)
M4 book edit is the only way to watch The Hobbit.

I’ve heard of some odd stuff like someone said the first mission impossible they ever saw was the last one. I wonder if there are people out there who have only seen like the hobbits movies or some weird combination of that.
There are probably people that first saw Star Wars episode 9, or the 3rd Jurassic World, or the 4th Matrix movie. And probably stopped there too, thinking the franchise is shit.
