Is this actually accurate? The Bears ran 13-15 (varying reports) on Monday night alone. I find it hard to believe they only ran 25 more throughout the other 11 weeks of football.

Cole has shown improvement each year he’s been in the league, which is what players are supposed to do. The tight end is typically a 3-4 year growth position. Cole had a 600-yard season and a 500-yard/7td season going to the negotiation table this last off-season. Anyone who was down on Cole before this year or for his contract just expects too much from young players. I swear, people have no patience for players adapting to the pro level, and they’re part of the problem.
He’s also gotten much better at going through reads. It’s almost like you watched the first 2 games of the season and quit watching
There’s bigger needs than wasting a 1st on a shorter version of Justin. MHJ, Jer’zahn Newton, or Olu. Take a center (I like Van Pran) in the 3rd. Keep Bagent as QB2 and maybe go after another guy way late (KJ Jefferson/McCall/Hartman)
I like Bagent as the QB2 to Fields, but if we’re talking late round QB prospects just because, I’d go with Jayden Daniels or KJ Jefferson… I also have been a fan of Grayson McCall from Coastal Carolina. I don’t think any of them would be hard to get in round 6 or later (maybe JD) and would benefit from sitting while Fields plays for 2 more years.
Jer’zahn Newton at 3 tech, possibly another Edge and as much as I’ve been a supporter of Eddie Jackson, a FS would be welcomed. I honestly think this defense is 3-5 pieces from being great.
