Yeah I continue to think Justin Fields is not the problem. As someone who has watched this shit Bears team all year.
It’s certainly debatable if he’s the solution, but Getsy and not having a center are way bigger issues

Ahh I see these are Fields many limitations.
Again I don’t know if he’s the answer or not but I know what shit Oline play looks like.
That’s a negative play though because Fields had to hold on to the ball for more than 2 seconds and then scramble to find the throw. Them is the rules, sorry.
I like him as a player and think he fits. So go from there.
Also if it means Justin Jones is more likely not to be on this team sign me up. I know everyone says that’s going to happen anyway but still.
The smile of a man who knows he is going to completely fuck up, lose the game, take 0 responsibility and still have his job until Week 17.
Which of these other guys do people feel is that much better?
Williams I get the hype on but this entire sub has soured on him and his faults are obvious. So that’s not most people’s answer.
Also I feel like I live in a world where half the Drake Maye people were hyping him like mad even on Saturday for the first half, then just sort of ignored his actual numbers and second half. Maye might actually scare me more because I feel like it’s the Twilight Zone with him and people either ignore or are mind wiped when he does play bad. That’s scary. Dude is not Andrew Luck. Can we at least examine what keeps going wrong for him against the team with the best NFL talent in the ACC before we anoint him the slam dunk #1 pick.
It’s not just Caleb. Someone is going to have to explain the Drake Maye hype to me at this point.
Look I get it one play is not everything, but he has an NFL RB and a future NFL WR on that team.
He plays really great except against the team with the most NFL talent in his conference, please only pay attention to his first half (and even then pretend like 170 yards and one TD is Heisman worthy), ignore his crucial INT, and act like a hr barely over 200 yards he’s throwing for is 350 is getting old too.
Getsy should get fired.
Also firing Ken Dorsey might save Josh Allen’s career or at least lengthen it.
I was never a fan of hiring coaches from Carolina for Josh Allen. Cam Newton might not have been perfect, but I still maintain Ron Rivera and that coaching staff absolutely drastically shortened his career and prime by having their offense be, Hey our QB is going to lead our power run game with a bad offensive line AND we’re going to rely on deep throw downfield for our passing game despite having no good left tackle and holes up front.
I think McDermott, consciously or not relied way too much on this. Dorsey was the QB coach for Cam in Carolina and I also think once Daboll left, they leaned even harder into this flawed model of how to use a franchise QB in the modern NFL.
Completely agree.
I think Getsy is awful and the problem. I have defended Bagent and Fields in that I can’t accurately assess any QB under Getsy
Having said that, it’s make or break time for Justin. If these are tougher teams so be it. Then prove yourself against them. Again I’m the world’s foremost Getsy critic, but Justin getting hurt was respectfully somewhat in Justin also not protecting himself. That meant he missed an extremely easy part of the schedule. So it is what it is at this point.
In a perfect world, Justin balls out, the Panthers get that #1 pick which goes to us, and the Bears both get MHJ and a draft haul.
But if Justin can’t prove it in what’s left in the season and you have the #1 or 2 pick, it’s time to go QB. Even if it means Justin works somewhere else. It’s time. He shows it over the rest of the season or the Bears have to move on. And I think Justin can work.
Eberflus looks like he would be more relieved to be fired than anything at this point. He’s clearly in over his head
I legit wonder at what point this is more about Poles just not admitting a mistake.
If this gets everyone to admit it’s not the QB but Getsy who is the problem it’s worth the overhype
Has Luke Getsy been fired yet this morning?
If not Ryan Poles is failing. It’s one thing not to fire the head coach, I get the McCaskeys weird tradition there.
But there is no tradition or rule against firing a coordinator before the season ends. The Bears do it all the time.
If Flus won’t fire Getsy today, Poles should walk in his office and do it for him.
