    This was in response to having 2 coaches on his team being fired for non-performance reasons, and should he vet people out different. I’ll tell you from being in leadership roles for over 20 years, there are no questions you can ask in an interview that will tell you a guy is going to violate a HR rule. These guys obviously did something stupid, and have never had issues before then, so there was no way for Flus to know they would do this. Not defending him for the on-field performance, but it sounds like when the issue showed up, he handled it correctly. That’s all you can do, sometimes people suck and that’s part of work and life.

      I genuinely feel like while this is damning with faint praise, if we’re talking general HR violations rather than crimes, there are probably double digit NFL organizations looking the other way rather than firing these guys. Hell, look at how the Texans were handing out non-disclosures for Watson until he pissed them off.

      I’d rather get rid of these guys now than learn about them in ten years, particularly if either of them were going beyond like, inappropriate remarks and such.

    The fact he’s still around is damning to the rest of the organization. Especially with the secrecy around Williams “resignation” and now another coach.

    It sounds ridiculous. And.

    I would rather see coaches fired now than hear about a bunch of unethical and/or illegal nonsense that went on unchecked later.
