This book unironically exists, it’s called “American Marxism” by Mark R. Levin. If you replace Marxism (in the conservative pejorative sense) with Wokeism, the meaning does not change.

The counterrevolution to the American Revolution is in full force. [drivel cut out] Of course, the primary difference between the counterrevolution and the American Revolution is that the former seeks to destroy American society and impose autocratic rule, and the latter institute representative government. The counterrevolution or movement of which I speak is Marxism

That was the first page. As for what marxism is to him,

In America, many Marxists cloak themselves in phrases such as “progressives,” “Democratic Socialists,” “community activists,” etc. … They operate under myriad [sic] newly minted organizational or identifying nomenclatures, such as “Black Lives Matter” (BLM), “Antifa,” “The Squad,” etc. And they claim to promote “economic justice,” “environmental justice,” “racial equity,” “gender equity,” etc. They have invented new theories, like Critical Race Theory … they claim “the dominant culture” and capitalist system are unjust and inequitable, racist and sexist, colonial and imperialist, materialistic and destructive of the environment. Of course, the purpose is to tear down and tear apart the nation…

One other thing I want to point out is that most of his footnotes are ibid. so this book that might seem well researched but it is mostly the same few sources lmao.

    This book is terrible.

my favorite part about everything being woke is that conservatives can’t figure out a way to put it in a sentence. This is despite them using it to mean anything

Like they might say it as “I’m against woke” and another will say they’re against “wokeism” or the “woke agenda.” They don’t know how to refer to woke people, so they might say wokists. Ron DeSantis tried to make it into purely a noun. He mostly says shit like “Florida will stop woke” and he might say woke activists.

I’ve never seen conservatives latch onto a word like this except maybe SJW
