I want to watch the Bears win, but I also really want that to happen in a way in which Flus still gets fired at the end of the year. There is nothing Flus can do to redeem himself for me, but I don’t think the front office feels the same way.
This is why Im ok with us losing in general, but especially in embarrassing fashion. It pretty much guarantees this entire staff is out. And if they’re not, I’m not watching another game until they are.
I’m not personally buying into the rumors Poles wants to keep Flus around. The dude hasn’t won a division game yet. I don’t think there’s anything he can do to keep his job next year. If I’m somehow wrong, I won’t be paying attention.
