I hope for at least one more year. Use the high draft picks and cap money to build the o line in a huge way and beef up and give depth to the secondary. Fields is at least an above-average QB, and if he had a great team around him, he may survive long enough to get a new coach, new GM AND a new QB so they’re all on the same cycle.

I’m so tired of the Bears getting a new QB then getting a new GM & coach a year later. They need to sync up, and in the meantime you can build a kickass team around him.

I don’t agree that kicking the can down the road is the best option. So what, we build up our team to a respectable place and then draft a QB in the 15-25 range in a couple of years?

Why not take the chance now when we have a surefire top 5 pick in a draft that has really great QB prospects and then build up the less important positions in the following years?

It just seems backwards to me. Like I get wanting to set up a good environment fora rookie QB and ideally we would already have that this year, but we don’t.

We have plenty of talent on offense. If you put a good QB on this team right now we’d be at least an upper half offense if not top 10-12

When you’re not a good QB, and you have a bunch of chronically online Stan’s trying to convince you that 2+2=10 and that your own eyes and literal data are deceiving you, you’ll get haters. That’s what happens

They kept bringing up Justin’s last three games as a reason to keep him. Two of those games were agains the broncos and commanders, two of the worst defenses in the league, and the last was the Vikings, which he wasn’t playing well before his injury. So it was really just the two. Not saying move on, but take those “last 3 games” with a grain of salt. Context is important

This is probably the worst show on FS1. The fact that Acho forced Marcellus Wiley out to transition the show to this generic debate trash annoys the fuck out of me. These debate shows need to die.

The next three games against Det, Min, and Det are tough games, then Cleveland when they come back from the bye. Watch this sub, if the Bears lose these games, even if the defense gives up 30pt or more per, it will be filled with “Bagent would have won those games” comments. It’s almost unfair that Bagent got the soft part of the schedule, looked average at best Fields will be killed for not beating Detroit and Minnesota.

Every SPEAK video on JF1 is the same fucking 20 minutes over and over and over. I haven’t seen it but let me guess. -Shady talks about it doesn’t matter is they see improvement, we he’s 6-25 (which is a fair point) -Jones talks about how he’s been improving and we should see if he keeps improving. -Joy talks about how he’s in his third year and at this point it doesn’t matter if he’s improving, we should already know. -And a go tries to take middle ground by pulling some random stat that ultimately means nothing.

    Lmk how I did

I have no doubts about the Bears being 2-2 WITH Fields if he had been healthy the last 4 weeks. That argument is trash. Bagent did great backup work for the Bears. He answered a LOT of questions about his ability and the staff’s trust therein. That being said, Fields needs to pick up where he left off and not hinder the progress being made. If they lose, it needs to be in spite of his play, not because of it.
