Because being a cop is less dangerous than being a roofer.

If that doesn’t make sense to you, then congrats. You’re too smart to be a cop.

Being a cop isn’t even in the Top 15 of dangerous jobs. I’ve held 2 jobs in the top 5, and I never went around demanding respect because my job was so dangerous.

Cops are notorious pussies and scared of their own shadows. Police work is less dangerous than delivering pizzas in America but you don’t see Domino’s drivers strapped up with one hand on their gun when knocking on doors - yet police get away with this because in their mind everyone is a criminal out to get them, and not a member of their community that they swore to protect.

      off-white

This could touch off a discussion that could last for hours in my house. Off-white? Do you mean Eggshell? Or maybe Ecru? Or perhaps Linen?

When it comes to white paint, I tell my wife to show me her 3 favorites, I’ll pick my favorite of those three, and then paint the walls whatever color she tells me. It’s white, I don’t care.

This is what happens when you’re told to expect that every encounter with the public could end in your death.

it’s how they’re trained (or how little rather). They’re essentially told that basically every interaction could potentially result in them being attacked and to stay vigilant.

It’s not that they’re trained little, it’s that their training encourages antisocial mentality and behavior and they’re never held accountable when they hurt people or break the law

And most cops are the dregs of society anyway. Violent sociopaths with control issues and irrational fear of the unknown.

And this training causes a self-fulfilled prophecy!

When you act super paranoid and aggressive because you are literally deathly afraid of every interaction, what happens to a public that is constantly dealing with that level of treatment?

Can’t have officials grab their dickmommy’s hand in public, so they get a supplement to hold on to.
