Try being 37. what was a simple half marathon in your 20s becomes a painful reminder of your physical decline.

    Then at 40:

“Oof… my hip is killing me…”

    “What’d you do?”

“Got out of bed? My fault for laying down in the first place I guess.”

If a sneeze hurts you at age 27, you need to hit the fucking gym, homie. 27 is prime age, god damn it.

I felt so much better when i was 30 than i did in my 20es. I’m pushing 40 and and i’d say i’m in better shape that i have ever been. The main difference is that i do have to stretch and when i fall when mountain biking or skateboarding i don’t feel like a rubber ball anymore.

I have a theory. Everyone gets about 15 years of hard driving out of their body. So if you start seriously pushing for sports around the age of 12 and then take a physically intensive job you too can be told you’re too young for joint and back pain when you’re 27.

Sincerely, A child athlete and combat veteran who got told he was too young for knee pain at (checks notes) … 30.

Note - The VA eventually fell back on the argument they love best. While your knee problems were documented in the Army, they were not documented exactly the way we wanted. So because neither 20 year old you nor the 20 year old medic were psychic we’re going to deny this claim.

Oh United Health has nothing on the VA. The VA literally left veterans with cancer on a waiting list until they died. On purpose.

they’re evil. i know someone who got their house foreclosed because the VA messed up the covid relief paperwork and refused to do anything about it. court was closed the day of their appeal hearing due to weather, so they got evicted for “not showing up in court”. oh and this was in the middle of winter with like a foot of snow on the ground

My wife closed a curtain and had backpain for 2 weeks as a result xD

I got a new job and ended up with backpain for the first 2 months until my body adjusted to it.
