some people upvoted a post that was very transphobic
@Nakoichi@hexbear.net is an online anarcho-tankie version of
“think of the children”
argues for endangering children
“think of what I want my children to be” (I don’t care what they want at all)
Puberty blockers, hormones, and surgery for minors?! Think of the children!!
Bodily autonomy? Think of my private human capital!
This is literally just like Nighty AD 4 by Georgia Orwella
Transphobes btfo
What was the post? Just curious.

Thank you!
This person should fuck off and die.
Love the losers crying about the mods removing “dialogue”. This isnt a discussion, motherfucker. You either are a transphobe or you’re correct, there is no dialogue to be had.
I have a great deal of respect for our anarcho-tankie mods being the trans vanguard and obliterating losers on hexbear. I love to see it.
TC_69 would be so proud.
You can tell who upvoted something?
News to me.
Oh yeah. Think twice before not upvoting my posts in the future
yeah admins can see it very easily. its for purging bastards that wanna harass trans people all the time through vote manipulation
That’s pathetic, mods doing good work
I’ve been saying this for a long time: we can do self-moderation here on Hexbear if they make all upvotes public, so we know who are the reactionaries instantly.
This will reduce the workload of the mods and also allow some democratic work to be done by the users as well.
that’s such juicy gossip
would we ever consider making something like that accessible to normal users?
I can see obvious problems with it, and it would probably be more annoying than it’s worth… but it would be fun.
Opt in. To see who upvoted a post, you have to have your upvotes seeable.
And maybe you could only see who uovoted your own comments/posts. I think it would be a fun way to see who’s in your corner.
Just before hexbear removed downvotes, the admins checked to see who had downvoted any of the frequent “I love my trans comrades” posts and purged them all
The one person who was like “I’m not transphobic, but I downvote all pinned posts on principle and I will never stop” and then got banned was the one that really cracked me up
but really they should’ve also banned everyone who DIDNT upvote…
maybe you could only see who liked your own comments/posts.
This would fuck with my head too much, please never add this.
Couldn’t normal uses just make a instance and then they’re be an admin and be able to see downvotes? An instance could just make those votes public if you use their instance. Not sure if defederating them would prevent them from getting that info or not.
Oh shit is still around? Love it
I upvoted it… I also talked shit about the article.
