I loved Shimamami Tasogare so I’ll be watching this with great interest! It appears to be on a brand new platform which is also curious. Guess we’ll have to see how it pans out
If Joe single-handedly dangles Hunter over a balcony without dropping him, he’s got my vote
Just saw this recently. Gee, thanks, Amazon, I definitely want to see LLM garbage instead of answers from actual humans who have used the same product!

I had Red Moon active while scrolling past and could barely make out wtf was going on
I actually happened to talk to a neurologist about this today and they didn’t buy Biden as having Parkinson’s (apparently his gait doesn’t match, gait analysis being a key diagnostic indicator of many neurological conditions). They’re also a major lib, so it could be pure cope, but it sounded like a straightforward medical assessment to me and they’re not the type to bullshit me. And for what it’s worth, I just checked and even the doctor they had on Fox News said the same (he speculated it might be vascular dementia).
I don’t think the specific medical diagnosis matters that much, though. It doesn’t take a neurologist to see that Biden’s not playing with a full deck of cards, and he’s clearly getting worse and not better. And obviously his camp is never going to release results of a cognitive evaluation because it would mean they could no longer lie through their teeth about his fitness for office.
I rented this game from Hollywood Video back in the day and tbh I don’t remember much about it (don’t think I beat it, though). Is it worth giving it another shot?
There was a period of my life where I practically lived on GameSpot (during the same era when the Big Rigs review came out). I was actually just listening to a podcast today where someone mused that up until around the late 2000s, it was actually pretty feasible for someone to keep up with literally all the major game releases and just consume all available information by reading enough websites and magazines and stuff…I was one of those people.
I was playing Elden Ring, but one of my PC components went kaput so I’m waiting on an RMA Think I’m gonna start playing the fan translation of Pokemon TCG 2 for the Game Boy Color–the original game is one of my all-time favorites (absolute BANGER of a soundtrack, too), and I’ve been meaning to play it for a while. Also eyeing a Pikmin 2 playthrough, since I did a Pikmin 1 Best Ending run recently to avenge kid!me and really enjoyed myself–game just has impeccable vibes.
Pikmin is up there for me. Such an odd and charming little game, and one I was able to play with my dad who never showed any interest in vidya before or since. It was too difficult to beat when I was a kid (I got absolutely bodied in The Distant Spring and couldn’t make a fast enough recovery to beat the 30 day timer), but coming back as an adult I really appreciate how refreshing it still feels all these years later. Still need to play Twilight Princess though.
And I was actually just playing Soul Calibur II yesterday! Link is up there, but Cervantes has gotta be my favorite. I just love how over the top all his lines are (“Come with me to hell!”, “Your soul makes a poor meal!”) and the weight of his attacks, and as someone who sucks ass at fighting games he had a few easy moves I could spam.
Jim Rash is so great in Community. I really ought to rewatch it one of these days.
The Dodgers acquired Shohei Ohtani during the off-season on a record-breaking $700 million contract–he’s a once-in-a-generation two-way player (meaning he can both pitch and hit at a high level), and consequently one of the most famous and beloved people in Japan. On top of that, they also have Yoshinobu Yamamoto, a pitcher who was dominant in the NPB (Japanese pro league). Oh, and it’s important to note that baseball is the most popular sport in Japan. So the Dodgers are a natural choice for a Japanese company of any sort to collaborate with, VTuber or otherwise. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had a dedicated team for handling Japanese sponsorships.
but how much (if anything) am i sacrificing from a disposable n95? !
Great video from the Mask Nerd on this exact subject. The TL;DW is that once you have a quality respirator (e.g. KF94/N95) the quality of fit far dominates filtration efficacy. It’s worth noting that it can be easier to get a good fit in an elastomeric (both because of their construction and because it’s trivial to do a positive and negative pressure fit test without any equipment), but if you can get a good fit with an N95 you should be good to go for everyday situations (KF94s are difficult to get a good fit in because of the design, so I’d recommend N95s when possible). Of course, part of the problem is the difficulty in determining the fit for disposable respirators, since quantitative tests are out of reach for most (that’s actually something the guy who made the video is working on). Maybe someone else here can speak to qualitative tests, which are more accessible. You can also see if there’s a mask bloc in your area who may be able to direct you to a community fit testing opportunity.
TIL this game still exists and is receiving updates. I remember basically maxing out my dwellers to the point that they could instantly vaporize any intruders and then there wasn’t much of a point anymore.
Reminds me of that Japanese variety show with the cicada
