What kind of performance enhancing drugs can you even take for Eurovision? If anything, you need to get the audience on hallucinogens.

He “made a threatening gesture” at the camera who kept filming him while he said repeatedly he didn’t wanted to be filmed at that time.

That’s really the only relevant thing here and it’s only barely relevant. This is really stretching the definition of news.

“This is a disappointment for the millions of Eurovision fans in the Netherlands and other European countries”

Netherlands: Meh. Best weather we’ve had in months. Let’s have a BBQ instead.

Yesterday they claimed he physically assaulted an israeli journalist, today they’ve changed it to “made threats” and didn’t physically touch them at all.

So in summary Joost Klein beheaded 40 babies and mass raped women.

I’m hoping some of the other acts no-show or pull out in advance in support of him. The actions of the EBU have been opaque and frankly awful.

To be fair we don’t know exactly what he did. From what I’ve read it sounds like he somehow harassed an employee in the production crew, which honestly should be reason for exclusion. Assuming that is what happened, it doesn’t seem unjust and I don’t think the other participants should try to justify such behaviour.

According to the dutch news orgs, he made a “threatening gesture” towards a (female) camera operator, after he asked not to be filmed, repeatedly (there were not supposed to be cameras at that point, so the request was not unjustified). There was no physical contact.

        Here’s the source (in dutch)

According to Cornald Maas (the Dutch commentator for the Eurovision) the “threatening motion”, as far as he is aware, was Joost pushing down the camera/phone, after asking not to be filmed.
