This right here is why if I were George McCaskey, I would have fired Pace/Nagy and told Phillips to retire after the 2020 season. I would have hired a new President first and let him hire the GM and who would then hire the head coach. Of course the Bears did it backwards where they brought in a new GM/coach and hired the President after.
