When is he going to realize he’s over his head and resign?

If I was the mayor of a suburb I’d put out a release saying I’d only want a competent and winning NFL organization to build a stadium in my town

He’s a fucking coward. He continually surrounds himself with yes men that don’t know a thing about football. They hire vanilla coaches that never challenge them or call out their bullshit.

And the worse part is us fools, that continue to drop thousands on tickets, food, and merch on a team that really hasn’t done jack shit in 40 years. We celebrate mediocrity because that’s all this organization has accomplished.

We’re all clowns for dealing with this bullshit, nothing will ever change until ownership is gutted.

I’d agree, if Elon didn’t exist.

How much did he pay for the platform formerly known as Twitter? A company that’s never made much profit, and relied heavily on ad money he drove off.

“I’m just a fan, not a football evaluator” Such a wuss-ass way to try to absolve yourself of responsibility for this franchise. Should be ashamed. If he’s a fan like he says he is and cares about winning both Flus and Getsy will be gone tomorrow and fuck away this franchise’s tradition of not firing coaches midseason

And that’s the reason why the Bears will always suck.

He may be just a fan, but then that means he has zero business evaluating the people who hire and evaluate the players.

Kevin Warren is here to right this ship. Legitimately one should stop watching if you thought this team was going to be good this year. Everyone said this team was going to be bad, and this sub got all pissy because everyone else knew it

Full authority to do whatever McCaskey tells him to do. He just came from the Vikings, where he was tasked with getting a new stadium built, and then left when that was done. Anyone that thinks that is not exactly what is happening here is an idiot.

Doesn’t mean he’s the right guy to do it. His entire career has been spent on the business side of football teams and then the big ten. What makes anyone think the McCaskeys hired him for his football knowledge rather than his business abilities?

Point is he’s been in football and surrounded by it. Sorry to disappoint you but it’s a business first and the players treat it as a business too. Last I checked pace came up in football, Chris Ballard who everyone wanted until recently had plenty of experience. Ultimately Kevin Warran gets to be the guy that starts a new legacy, or he just fails like everyone else. But I’m willing to see how it turns out.

Since 2011 under his leadership the Bears have had:

2 playoff births (WC losses) 5 head coaches

    Divisional placements 1st - 1, 2nd - 2, 3rd - 4, 4th - 6 (counting current season)

A team’s success starts with ownership. McCaskey just ain’t it
