The cat lady is an animal welfare concern. But if she’s genuinely trying to take good care of cats, she might be rehabilitated as a shelter worker.
The last one is probably beyond redemption, if they would even accept it.
2·22 hours agoWe already have more productivity than what we know what to do with, and it’s only going to get worse/better (depending on how we handle it).
But yeah, I’d imagine this would be the case and hope we will be able to do more meaningful work in the future.

As long as that high lifespan comes with a high healthspan, it shouldn’t be a problem.
Fair enough. In the long term, I’d like to switch to a FOSS alternative like F-Droid(?) and a FOSS store. This is more of a right-now thing.

Well, it’s pretty good to not have to go to Reddit to comment on a post. Similarly, I’m considering looking for a way to bridge some of the subreddits I made with their PieFed counterparts (or, preferrably, my instance counterparts when I make one) so that posts and comments from Reddit are automatically bridged over to fedi, and maybe vice versa as well.
