Fields “potential” clock is running out.
Hurts made it to a Super Bowl by now and they are a one loss team this year.
Mahomes already won a ring (and followed up with another).
The bears won so I am happy, but Fields did not look impressive

We did win with a game manager level QB though…
Maybe Fields just isn’t the guy?
You mean running the ball and getting bailed out by defensive penalties?
Seeing my dad cry a little bit when Walter Payton died. Cade McNown draft.
Makes really impressive grabs from time to time.
Consistent enough blocker.
Frequent false starts.
Worth the contract he got. The market always goes up and he’s locked in.
The Bears are not a top 3 run defense - I don’t care what the stats say.
I saw a “13” standing back there at the goal line during kick off. I had to do a double-take to make sure it wasn’t a “12.”
After that, I didn’t care what happened for the rest of the game. All was right with the world for a brief moment.
Mike Brown was successful for the first half of his career before Tommie Harris was on the team.
But Tommie Harris was also a stud.
He never should have been out there on that play. Everyone who was watching that game was holding their breath waiting for that moment. It was so clearly apparent he was having trouble moving and he was going to get creamed.
No. He reminds me not at all of Matt Forte.
Also Matt Forte was not “miles ahead of his time.” Both LT and Marshall Faulk caught a ton of passes and were multi-dimensional backs. Hell, even Walter Payton caught a shit ton of passes in the 80s.
Roschon Johnson reminds me more of a guy like Thomas Jones, but with some extra ability as a pass catcher
