I haven’t been watching the game, but I’m baffled at how the bears are dominating every statistical category and the game is tied 3-3

Every game is under a microscope because the question of whether or not to stick with fields looms so large. People are desperate for evidence either way. Is he improving? Has he plateaued? These are important questions for Fields that aren’t relevant for Hurts and Mahomes. There’s no reason for them to be under a microscope because they’ve done enough to cement themselves as good QBs.
I think the field goal call is a little bit of hindsight analysis.
If we go for it and fail, then the Lions score a TD and a FG, it’s “Flus is an idiot, he should have taken the points! Force the Lions to score two TDs”
At the end of the day the defense played extremely well, but let up two quick TD drives late.
It seems crazy to blame this on a defense that had four takeaways but… when you blow a lead like that in the late 4th, it’s mostly on the defense. Maybe the offense should turn those short fields into more points?
Say what you will but this game is living up to the hype. Two frustratingly incompetent teams playing in a game with actual stakes, and it’s close.
Amazing block by Moore there
Alright Foreman
Say what you will about Justin Fields, but that was a clutch throw to set up the game-winning field goal.
