Couldn’t even throw for 200 yards.

the joke is going right over everyone’s head lol

if it’s okay for Fields to get the microscope after every game, then it should be the same for every QB.

obviously Hurts and Mahomes are better, much much better, and have a proven track record, but that’s not the point

People who criticise Fields are not just taking one game out of context like this though, pretending like they are is disingenuous.

Yeah I can’t believe all these goobers are cherry picking Fields games where he throws for under 200 yards instead of looking at any of the one games where he threw for over 300 smh

People that solely criticize Fields do not know how to remove variables to really understand what the problems are. This exercise should help. The idea that everyone is Fields fault is pretty ludicrous as well (not you just overall, seen all over)

Right exactly. Sunday wasn’t the only game he’s turned the ball over on the last drive. It wasn’t the only game he’s failed to pass 200 yards receiving. It wasn’t the only time he failed to convert frequent good field position into TDs.

This isn’t one game. It’s the entire trend of Fields’ career.

The proven track record surely plays into the “microscope” after every game, no?

Like, you live with a game like Mahomes had here when he has multiple Super Bowls and Super Bowl MVPs and regular season MVPs and is 71-19 as a starter.

It’s a little different for Justin Fields, and it should be. To even compare the two is beyond stupid, even for a “joke” (jokes are usually funny, but I digress)

Every game is under a microscope because the question of whether or not to stick with fields looms so large. People are desperate for evidence either way. Is he improving? Has he plateaued? These are important questions for Fields that aren’t relevant for Hurts and Mahomes. There’s no reason for them to be under a microscope because they’ve done enough to cement themselves as good QBs.
