Well… it’s a good thing then that nowhere in the movie she walks around like it’s depicted on the poster! 😉

It’s perhaps less balls-to-the-wall than other Filipino b-actioners, but it’s also better made and more straightforward plot-wise, which are big plusses in my opinion.
Savage Justice can be streamed on Tubi.

It’s the trailer I linked in the post. It’s gimmicky but I love that, by not showing anything, it’s fairly spoiler free. It’s great how they did it here and I wish more movies would go this route.
Since the movie goes to great lengths to obscure the appearance of the scientist after his horrific accident, I decided against posting images that fully show him in his 🪰 shape.
A classic of B-cinema. If you’ve only seen the David Cronenberg remake, you owe it to yourself to check out the original.

2·15 days agoFor me it’s a tie between Future Kick and C.H.U.D.
As for the movies I posted myself: it’s a three-way tie (😆) between Future Cops, Attack of the 60 Foot Centerfold(s) and La Nave de los Monstruos (aka Ship of the Monsters.)

10·22 days agoFor a 70s B-movie with this plot it’s very tame (in regards to both the horror and the sleaze) but it’s still a decent enough time.
Satan’s Cheerleaders should be available on Tubi.

Fun fact: half of the budget for this British Alien knockoff was supplied by legendary Hong Kong studio Shaw Brothers. A year later they would use the poster for Inseminoid as a template for their Curse of Evil:

Me: Mom, can we have Alien?
Mom: No, we have Alien at home.
Alien at home: ⬆️
Inseminoid should be available for streaming on Tubi.

10·1 month agoSuper cheap and very softcore-porny, but it contains enough werewolf action (both with practical and digital FX) to make it worth your time.
This should be available for streaming through Ama$on.

I’d rather watch this tier of action figure effects work than marvel CGI any day.
Same! 🙏🏻
A fun kids movie released on Charles Band’s Moonbeam Entertainment, a family-orientated imprint of his Full Moon Features.

12·6 months agoA minor Bert I. Gordon (The Food of the Gods, The Amazing Colossal Man, Earth vs. the Spider) movie, but it serves enough shrunken-down action to keep you entertained.

That guy is a real hoopy frood! 👍
Of course I had to go with this particular poster instead of the single credit one: this is /c/bmoviebonanza after all. The A movie in that double bill is also known as Eyes Without a Face btw, which is a genuinely great movie.
A few more screens:
