Out of all the ones posted here this year

For me (excluding watch party announcements made/crossposted here, e.g. Big Trouble in Little China for #KungFuSat):

Of ones posted by someone else, a toss-up between:

  • Bad Black (2016) action-comedy on the mean streets of Lusaka… “SWAAAAAAAAZ!”
  • Future Cops (1993) the Street Fighter/Super Mario/time travel mashup you never knew you needed

Runner-up:

Of ones I posted myself:

Blast from the past (from me going over the earliest B Movie Bonanza posts):

I still have so many I need to catch up on, though. I’ve probably seen only 3%! (Also I only joined the threadiverse around April this year.)

    Basket case

    Encounters of the spooky kind

Absolute powerhouses of cinema for low budget but high return on fun.
I love those movies where they just commit to their world

Ok so while I can’t say that the sequels are as tightly written as the first. If you enjoy the monster and think Freaked (1993) wasnt insane enough I do think they aren’t a bad time.

I watched every Evil Bong movie in October. It was enjoyable but man were some stinkers part way through the run. I will forever think of those terrible songs they slapped across the series “God Smokes weed” being at the top. Favorite part is they must of hit up the local strip club every time shooting started for the naked Girls, they are different every time.

I’ll chalk up Evil Bong 666 as my favorite.

      • Still haven’t seen Laserblast, it was on #Monsterdon just before I started joining watch parties. Added to my wishlist.
      • Still convinced that the guy on the Laserblast poster is Richard Lynch, I don’t care what IMDb or Wikipedia says!

Laserblast is bad, real bad, but it’s also lots of fun. In the US it’s on Tubi and Fawesome.

Still convinced that the guy on the Laserblast poster is Richard Lynch

The running joke on monsterdon was that he’s Meth Mark Hammill.
