If you’re feeling dumb, just remember there are people who believe a 3rd coaching staff is the answer to fixing Justin Fields.

What an all-time shit show of a game. Dobbs had one good drive all game - Fields had one good pass. It feels good to win that one. In Santos We Trust.
Justin Fields is on the verge of passing Tyson Bagent’s regular season win total. I think he can pull it off.
Fields now has more all-time wins than Trubisky’s worst season (2020, 6-3) when he missed 6 games due to injury. To the moon!
I thought 26pts off 4 TO’s last week was BAD… wow. Still psyched that we got the win though, go Bears!
With this win, Fields ties Tyson Bagent’s wins on the season.
With this win, Fields now has more all-time wins than Trubisky’s worse season with the Bears 2020, 6-3), when he missed half of the season due to injury and still somehow made the playoffs.
Fuck it, pay Fields. We’ll be awful for at least 5 seasons, but I will cheer so hard for every win. Then my friends will at least talk to me again.
Bears win!!!
First division win since Trubisky. We are fucking back. GO BEARS!
We scored 12pts on 4 turnovers and won. BEAR DOWN.
Calvin Johnson was on the 0-16 Lions. They used the resulting pick to draft Matthew Stafford.
NONE OF THIS WORKS WITHOUT A QUARTERBACK. Am I crazy for wanting wins instead of individual records and highlights?
The Lions went 0-16 with Calvin Johnson. DJ Moore is nowhere near Calvin Johnson.
Sorry, but this doesn’t work without a quarterback.
Justin Fields throwing to MHJ might go down as one of the supreme wastes of WR talents in NFL history.
You’re right. MHJ paired with Justin Fields has potential to be the biggest waste of WR talent in history.
Exactly, Fields is basically Stafford.
If you think the Bears offense is bad… it is.
We all said the offense couldn’t get any worse with Trubisky in 2020… then it fell off a cliff in 2021. Then the Bears went 3-14 in 2022. Now we’re here, no shot at a winning season, and no end in sight. Already talking about trading our draft picks down and running it back.
There’s no need to compare us to other teams when we are historically bad at the moment.
This was the night Packers chose to retire Brett Favre’s jersey.
Unfortunately I didn’t get to see the game today because I was traveling through Chicagoland to see family, so I can’t speak to Goff’s play today. I was at the game last week in Detroit though and saw us score 26 points on 4 turnovers - watched the Bears put together exactly one good drive per half against a middling Lions D. That’s just not good enough in my opinion.
Cherry pick all the stats you want if you need to convince yourself who the better player is.
Jared Goff wins a lot of games against NFL defenses. Fields does not. Goff has been to the playoffs and the Super Bowl, and he’ll probably be back. It’s hard to imagine a scenario where Justin Fields leads the Bears to the playoffs, even the wildcard.
Imagine reversing roles last week, and putting the ball in Justin Fields’ hands with the Bears down two scores with 4:39 left in the game. I think the Bears lose 100 out of 100 times. That’s what this is all about.
This was one line in the context of a 10-minute interview… really not worth a headline.
