Eberlose saw how the offense did the first half and said no let’s not score anymore my genius defensive play calling will hold the lead.

Trade Goff and first round picks just like the Rams did. Would be pretty funny if that happened again.
They really were close to beating the Lions who are genuinely a very good team this year. It would just really be nice for a coach to own up and say that close doesn’t count and it’s up to him to get the team over the finish line.
A few thoughts on Fields:
Anyone who says he isn’t a winner as a reason to move on from him should be discredited immediately. It’s an idiotic argument not based on any qualitative assessment of his game. Especially when the team blatantly tanked last year.
That said, he played well today. Everyone screaming about passing yards must not have watched them chew up clock in the second half by running almost every play. Hard to get passing yards when you run the ball. He himself made a lot of the nice runs on a day the running backs really didn’t do much outside of a few good runs by Roshon and Herbert. More often than not they got stuffed.
Also I don’t buy the argument that Fields is to blame for the play calls on the three and out drive at the end. He knows they are forcing Detroit to take time outs by running. I think everyone expects QBs to be like Peyton Manning and have carte blanche to do whatever they want at the line. It seems likely the coaches told him to run no matter what given the clock situation. Would be interested to hear someone who’s actually played in the NFL explain how those situations work.
I don’t care what JT O’Sullivan says, Kmet is good.
Forgot there was a game going on during the fashion show
I know everyone here hates screens but they’re actually good plays when the defense sells out on a blitz every play
