I mean, he put together a game winning drive on his second try after fumbling away the first attempt.
It’s entirely possible that we never touch to ball again after that fumble.
And yes, it would be hard to judge Fields based on this game alone. Luckily we now have several years worth of mediocre games to judge him on.
It’s almost as if multiple things can be bad at the same time.
I don’t believe for one second that there are a significant number of people who want to keep the coaching staff and get rid of Fields.

Justin Fields is not a franchise QB and this coaching staff is terrible. Both those things are correct.
