Gervon has been a beast lately. It makes me so happy

They are going to challenge this and there’s zero chance to overturn, however I am suspicious. If the refs award the line to gain you’ll never convince me there’s not a fix
How the fuck was that not helmet to helmet on Fields
Yes but does he want to go to the place were receivers go to die?
You can justifiably criticize Fields’ play in many areas, but to call him a bad teammate or leader is so far off base I question whether you’re a true fan or just a troll. The man has literally been taking personal responsibility for dog shit offensive line and receiver play for 3 years. The fact that your argument is based off one occasion in which he lightly holds a rookie accountable (while also subsequently building him back up) is completely ridiculous. GTFO with this petty ass bullshit.
Conveniently leaving out the context with your summation.

That’s a game that could have changed the direction of this franchise. Scott needs to catch that ball.
For Chicago especially, you need two things to survive as a QB. 1) obviously the skill set and execution consistently during games; something we’ve never seen 2) you have to have extremely thick skin and a likable personality or the city will eat you alive. It’s to be determined if Fields has #1. I still believe but time is running out. However, I’ve never seen a QB in this city as good at #2 as Fields has been. If he doesn’t work out here, wherever he goes will become my 2nd team (with some obvious exceptions FTP).
George is not an embarrassment. He’s a good man who loves the city and team. Snyder was an embarrassment. Haslam is an embarrassment. George has made incompetent decisions by putting incompetent people in charge of operations. I’ll criticize him for that, but I’m not going to go overboard.
Sneak into Halas Hall and steal the piece of scratch paper. Get arrested on way home for something else, and cops find the piece of paper with a Jackie Treehorn penis scribbled on it.
My amateur couch eyes told me the kid played well for most of the game. He commanded the offense, avoided pressure, and made decisive throws the entire first half, however his teammates and the refs did him zero favors with penalties, drops, and missed calls. He had 3 TDs taken off of the board (yes I know 2 were on same drive but still). In the second half he had to start forcing things, but that would be any QB. I’m impressed with his 2nd start, but agree he’s a backup. I hope he sticks around for a long time in that role, and if he does he’d become a Chicago icon solely because of his blue collar credentials
I find it absolutely hilarious the Chiefs offensive downfall has nothing to do with lack of receivers (they had none last year) and everything to do with Nagy calling plays
