Fields seems to have the locker room behind him, especially the talented players. That should matter more to people.

Those who play with and against Fields think he is the goods. Those who watch and know football also think this. The problem is, the Bears coaches have never consistently leaned on the three things he does that are elite elite. If they just did that, we would win for 10 years. I am beyond frustrated at this. And some dumb fans and media talk s–t about Fields, its not him. OK thats enough outta me, have a good one.

For Chicago especially, you need two things to survive as a QB. 1) obviously the skill set and execution consistently during games; something we’ve never seen 2) you have to have extremely thick skin and a likable personality or the city will eat you alive. It’s to be determined if Fields has #1. I still believe but time is running out. However, I’ve never seen a QB in this city as good at #2 as Fields has been. If he doesn’t work out here, wherever he goes will become my 2nd team (with some obvious exceptions FTP).
