If I were ranking the top guys, just based on my own evaluation so far. Williams is on par with Burrow and Trevor. Maye is on the level of Murray, Bortles, Goff, Tua.

I didn’t like the hiring at the time, I thought it was overwhelmingly meh I wanted McDaniels (I wanted a Shanahan guy same reason I will likely be advocating for Slowik) , Daboll (Josh Allen), Harbaugh or Jim Caldwell (which is unpopular I know). I did not want a defensive guy. BUT I thought ‘Hey he at least wont be embarrassing’ ‘He should at least bring discipline and accountability which we need for a rebuilding team’. I could not have been more wrong. Terrible, I have never hated a coach more.

Having the 1st overall will make it extremely hard for me personally to pass on QB, I am however ok with drafting a qb and keeping Justin. That way the rookie can sit if we decide he needs to, and if the rookie earns it by beating Justin out fair and square it that means we upgraded the QB position. I want an upgrade at QB, idc how that comes be it Justin growing into it or a draft pick. We have plenty of other draft capital, and cap space to fill other holes on the roster, but we will NOT have another shot at a number 1 overall QB. Especially one on the caliber of Caleb and Drake whom are both great prospects.

One issue I have is our blitz beater calls, if the see a blitz coming its a screen, swing or dump off. Which can absolutely beat blitzs, but they never max protect and shoot. So teams blitz and tee off on short routes, it kill us. The few times I’ve seen us go max protect bomb its worked

Yea, I do not watch a ton of CFB during the NFL season. But reuniting Fields and Chase would be cool, they gave Ohio State this crazy positive energy when they were together. We’d at least have excitement

If its true I assume our 3rd would win out with it being close to a second right? Either way I would happily give up a 3rd for either of them, idk which I’d prefer tbh. Like Chase has higher upside imo but he’s been hurt. I’d probably prefer Sweat, he to me is a perfect ‘Robin’ Edge rusher. We’d still need our elite number 1 guy but it fills a clear role.
