This isn’t true, the 14th amendment clearly states naturalized citizens are equal. This very matter is being challenged in the courts now, and hopefully this will be their interpretation. Naturalized citizens shouldn’t be treated as a lesser class, and that’s precisely what the equal protection clause in the 14th is about.
No non natural born citizen has been president and no challenge has been successful yet. It’s a strong argument but that’s all it is until a challenge successful.
