This dude got so much (unwarranted) hate early in the season, especially after his extension, but he’s done nothing but impress in his fourth year as a safety valve, blocker, and redzone threat.

Definitely one of Poles’ best moves as a GM so far, despite the earlier general consensus that we overspent on him among the fanbase. He could soon make a case for being a top 5 TE in the NFL, and he doesn’t get nearly enough recognition.

The most impressive thing I saw from last night was how he just kept FIGHTING for those yards. The first couple first downs Chicago had he was a mini Kittle it seemed. Really happy with his extension/hope he stays in Chicago a while.

Swole Cole always fights like crazy for extra yards, him and Montgomery are the two best I’ve seen at it for the Bears in a long time

The thing people who just look at numbers never understood about Montgomery was that he broke an absolutely insane percent of tackles in college and continued to do it in the NFL. Ironically that is a straight up countable stat but it isn’t one of the ones the basic fucktards have been told to look at by ESPN.

Kmet might just be Montgomery in TE form and if it works out that way I could not be happier. Ok well I would be happier if we had both of them and a half decent offensive line.

I could spend hours talking about our O line but I won’t.

He gives me Greg Olsen vibes when I watch him. Will grab any ball that is catchable.

Only difference being we didn’t let him walk away.
