I’m curious - why do you pick iPhone compared to other smartphone brands? (Google Pixel, Samsung, OnePlus, etc.)

(I’m also going to be asking in other phone subs, hope this survey goes well)

    1. I used Samsung smartphones for 9 years, but in 2020 I got an iPhone and migrated into the Apple ecosystem (iPad, MacBook). Apple devices haven’t so far left me in trouble, they “just work”. The reliability keeps me in the ecosystem. Everything works and I feel safe. I have Galaxy A53 as my second phone and it has already left me in trouble for a few times: a few apps didn’t work like they should, while on the iPhone I never got a problem.

    2. I’m not a fan of Windows or Ubuntu anymore, and using a MacBook feels very anti-stressing and reliable. I like that. Makes me feel safe.

    3. It’s important to me to get the latest security updates as fast as possible on all my devices.

    4. I love how it feels like to hold an iPhone in your hand. They really do pay attention to little details.

    5. Privacy/security. Advanced Data Protection. I’m not a fan of Google anymore, and I don’t want to use Google Photos. So far iCloud has met my needs with Advanced Data Protection on. If Android had that, I’d be interested, given how I used to love Samsung phones.

BUT: At least in North Europe where I live, 90% of people I know use an Android. Having an iPhone can be seen here as “snobby”, in my personal circles. Also, I’m not a fan of the Apple prices 😅
