I keep hearing this statement, I’m just curious if there is an actual video or source where he is caught saying this? Or is this just some hearsay that’s been passed around for ever .

    I know we’re a joke franchise of late, but I wouldn’t be shocked if the Bears are the dream job for MANY of these guys. The ‘85 nostalgia/legacy franchise cache does still have weight, and being the dude to win again in Chicago is legend shit. I’m sure it’s considered attractive.

      The current crop of up and comers weren’t out of diapers in 1985. Shane Waldron was like 6. Ben Johnson and Bobby Slowik weren’t even born yet. These guys don’t give a fuck about the 85 Bears. How often do you think about the 1972 Dolphins?

      Not to mention in the moment we might be the most attractive job this off season. I mean two high first rounders maybe already have QB even if not the team is fairly built(I feel like most coaches would think I can get more out of these players) also i believe pretty high cap space.
