Think about this. If not for the defense, the Bears should have beaten Denver, Minn, and Det. The Vikings would have one less win, the Bears would have 3 more wins. The Bears would be 6-5 the Vikings 5-6. If only we had a good defense. Maybe we’ll see it tonight.
They wouldn’t have been in the lead against Detroit if it wasn’t for the defense.
Goff played like crap against the Bears and Green Bay. The difference in those two games was the defense. Green Bay didn’t allow Detroit to come back when they had the lead, the Bears defense (from the last play of the 1st half) offered no resistance as the Lions went up and down the field at will. To blow that game in 4 minutes? That’s on the defense and the coaching who got scared after Scott dropped that easy TD pass.
